Healing Sisterhood Wounds

“Circle is where we learn to listen and honor each other’s differences.
Circle is where we learn to connect to ourselves and one another.
Circle is where we reconnect to the natural rhythm of the earth.
Circle is a way of life, and as we circle together, we begin to see the power of the collective sisterhood and how women are coming together to celebrate, support, and empower one another is how we will elevate the consciousness on the planet.”

It takes courage to reveal yourself.

For a long time, I missed a genuine connection with women. Growing up in the Russian orphanage and being on my own after graduating high school, I developed sisterhood and mother wounds. I was often pushed, used, lied to, tossed, envied, misunderstood, and not accepted by females because I appeared different to them or for other reasons. I am sure I wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

It was challenging to belong to a group of women. Being friends with men was much easier. It took time to learn to trust myself and especially women hoping that they had no hidden agenda.

Eventually, when I made connections with women of all ages, I noticed how many similar challenges, especially the inner ones, we were going through. I knew right there that I was not alone. I felt more connected to women, and I desired to create an intimate circle of Soul SiStars.

I had a calling to bring women together during full and new moons. Inviting them into a sacred space, a safe container where they can be vulnerable, seen, heard, supported, and most of all – celebrated. It DOES take COURAGE to reveal yourself, be raw and authentic.

Almost a year and a half ago, I took action to get closer to my calling. I simply sent the first email invite to women. And here I am DOING it—no more hiding.

Bi-monthly we gather virtually to honor the moon, ourselves, and each other during new and full moons.

  • We explore themes correlated with the astrology of each moon.
  • We relax our bodies, let go of our thoughts, and focus on the present.
  • We create a sacred space with Goddesses, directions, and elements.
  • We connect with sisters around the world.
  • We ground and center ourselves.
  • We go deep within for answers while journaling and meditating.
  • We share and listen to each other stories, be vulnerable, feel empowered, and know that we are not alone in our journeys.
  • We feel held and understood without judgment, advice, or criticism.
  • We learn from each other.
  • We reclaim our power by remembering what matters to us and how it feels.
  • We come up with Aha moments and resolutions on what needs our focus on an individual level.
  • We create intentions for the new moon and plan steps to allow choices to come to fruition.
  • We use different rituals to release stagnant energies, limiting beliefs, heavy thoughts, and resistance during the full moon.
  • We explore inner work such as an inner child and shadow work, ancestral healing, body healing, etc.
  • We recognize our greatness and remember our inner light.
  • We activate the light within and embrace that we are the ones we have been waiting for.
  • We activate chakras and bring them into balance.
  • We embody and integrate energies received with movement or chanting.
  • We gain clarity and get unstuck.
  • We remember that we have the power to make changes in our lives for the better, to live lives of fulfillment.

Holding a circle brings me absolute joy and incredible satisfaction. I love building a community of women that I hope will continue to grow.
